Friendly staff, clean room, nice single beds, quiet neighborhood, large place with outdoor and indoor gathering places, hot tub available, free parking. Check in instructions were delayed. I had to find a local with a phone to call. Office Email not working.

The pensiunea premises are quite nice, but it looks like it was a large investment that isn't regularly maintained anymore. Our room was as basic as can be, but decent. A lady only briefly came by to hand over the keys, and we were told there is no food, even though they advertise it. Other guests were left hungry as well, only one family managed to at least get breakfast (on the same morning we and another guest wouldn't get any). We had to get something cold from the magazin (after figuring out the opening hours) and ask the owner on the phone for cutlery, because they wouldn't open the outdoor kitchen either, and she seemed annoyed. Come on, you're in the Via Transilvanica guide, what else is a hiker supposed to eat in Marga?

Very good hosts, ready to help anytime and provide information about surroundings. I would recommend this place for peace and harmony, for the nice village, the monastery, and good rest and food.
