What a wonderful hidden gem 💎 Close to Inverness yet a world away with stunning views. Jess, Alan and baby River were the perfect hosts. On hand if I needed anything but left me to appreciate the peace and tranquility of the camping spot too. It was quiet as I was braving end of Oct temperatures but even in the cold the beauty of nature was everywhere. A truly magical camp with a hot shower and a campfire every night to warm me up. Compost loo too and a sink with fresh running water. Perfect last stop before you get to Inverness if you're walking the Great Glen Way! Payment is by donation so give generously 😘👣🏴 😁

Alan and Jess started their farm in 2023. Since then, many hikers asked for tap water or whether they could camp in their garden. So last year they decided to adapt it and they started a little camping ground. A shower, a toilet, a sink and tap water are available. The owner even made a campfire for us. You pay by donation ( but please do, they truly deserve it!) and there's also an honesty fridge with muffins, softdrinks... If you're walking the Great Glen Way, you must visit them and their farm animals. It is truly a magnificent place, and they were lifesavers for me!!! If you ( Alan & Jess ) read this: Thank you so much, this place will stay in my mind forever. I hope i'm able to visit you guys again! Cheers!

Stunning place! Stayed here late Sept, temp had dropped quite a bit the night we stayed but we were blessed with an incredible sunrise. Loads and loads of deer around first thing in the fields around, was an incredible sight! Eco campsite, by donation. Is a bit small, but we called ahead to check if they had room. Hot shower was super clean and spacious. Compost toilet. Would recommend for a no thrills, off grid camping experience.
