Bed&Breakfast Lausegger

So far from all the fuss of city life. In the evenings one can observe the Milky way while listening to crickets and some distant cow bells.

We wanted someplace quiet and out of the way from the hustle and bustle of the city. We found it!! The facility was superb and cleanliness was top notch. We stayed 2 nights. The breakfast was wonderful with home made jams and such. The hosts were great and gave us some history of the place. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were conducive to a good nights sleep. We thoroughly simply sitting on the balcony and soaking in the sun. If there was any drawback, it would be the shower stall size. It was tight but fortunately, we didn't spend much time in the shower. I'd not hesitate to stay there again. The nearby towns were filled with charm and they had tons of local brochure's for information. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely B&B establishment providing exactly what is advertised. My single room and en suite bathroom whilst somewhat dated, were both good in size, clean, with basic furnishings, a comfortable bed all of which were perfectly adequate. A balcony offered a fabulous place to sit and take in the amazing scenery which is simply stunning. It is a quiet, peaceful location, only the bells on the sheep may disturb you! Freshly made breakfast is provided daily which included delicious home made preserves. I used Lausegger as a base whilst on a touring motorcycle holiday which was perfect as it allowed me to travel out from there around the immediate areas. The owners of this family run business are super friendly and couldn't be more helpful, providing plenty of guidance and vouchers for activities around the area including kindly providing me with somewhere to park my bike undercover too which was appreciated. Lausegger is a traditional, older guesthouse and as such, represents excellent value for money.
