Schooner Point Guest House, Looe

I stayed at Schooner Point Guest House from Saturday to Wednesday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Paula and Tom were the most welcoming hosts — warm, thoughtful, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. As a photographer, I was especially grateful for their tailored recommendations of scenic spots and hidden gems around Looe and the Cornish coast. Thanks to them, I captured some of the most stunning shots of my trip. The guest house itself is spotless, comfortable, and beautifully situated with breathtaking views over the estuary. The homemade breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with great attention to local and sustainable ingredients. If you're looking for a stay that combines comfort, genuine hospitality, and expert local insight — this is the place. I can’t wait to return.

Just returned from a perfect stay at the Schooner Point guest house. Our room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean with some lovely touches including bath robes. Perfect location, just a short walk to the town centre. The breakfast is simply the best with locally sourced ingredients. Its very homely very clean. Breakfast was top notch. Everything was lovely. The host Tom and Paula they are such lovely people. The environment is very inviting. I'm definitely coming again.
