La Maison d'en Bas

This is a wonderful, lovingly restored maison. The most tasteful rooms I have found along the GR10 trail.

Paul is a lovely, welcoming host! The house is perfectly renovated, clean, and calm, a brief walk to the Chemin de la Mature, and ideally situated for a myriad of hikes and climbs in the Vallée d'Aspe and the Aragon region in Spain. And, Paul's vegetarian cooking is delicious! Our family enjoyed our stay at the Maison d'en Bas immensely and hope to return soon.

Rarely I get to visit a place and everything is perfect: the hospitality, the room, the breakfast, the local information, the value, the company... 5+ stars. For sure.
