Yes, it's downtown, in a separate part of a house within a home owned by two people who exude a desire to provide thoughtfully designed spaces. It's one of the few B&Bs I've seen that has EVERYTHING provided, from potholders to cleaning products, from dishes to pots and pans, two moka pots and a pod machine, cups, glasses, and toiletries in the bathroom. The bathroom isn't windowless, there's a large shower, books on the shelves, and cabinets for storing personal items. It's truly a home, with just enough to make you feel more than comfortable. Everything is spotless and smells wonderful. It must have been a place of importance because it welcomes you and makes you feel comfortable right away. It's right in the center, and you can hear the daily hustle and bustle, the sounds of the town, but it's Pontassieve, not London, and it's a background music from another era, one that fades quickly, resonating off the tiles and thick walls of the houses.

Excellent location, convenient to the village and the train station. Clean room, bathroom with everything you need. Helpful owners.
