Wellness- & Nationalpark-Hotel Schliffkopf

The service was fantastic, but unfortunately the sauna left a lot to be desired. There’s paint peeling all over the sauna room and a smell of mildew. One of the hallways leading to the sundew also smelt strongly of old cigarettes. Overall, it was an okay hotel to stop by on the way to somewhere else, but I wouldn’t book here again for the wellness aspect.

Our family of four had a wonderfully comfortable stay here. Even though we don’t speak German, the staff went out of their way to help us and make everything easy. They offered a great breakfast selection, breathtaking views, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

PLEASE AVOID! It's probably the dirtiest hotel of '4 stars' (what a joke!) I ever stayed at. If you care about hygiene and not having black hairs everywhere in your room after it was 'cleaned', if you don't want staff laughing at you because you complain and then just say 'ok' for whatever you say, then please avoid this disgusting place. If you wish to spend over 200 euros per night in a disgusting room and be treated with a deep lack of consideration, then this is the place for you. As a bonus, you can also hear cars and motorbikes all the time on the nearby road. It's probably part of the 'wellness' experience. Also part of the 'wellness' experience: the smelly feet smell of the indoor and outdoor pools and the stinky hammam. 👃🦶👌
