An exceptional stay! I genuinely cannot fault a single thing from our winter break one night stay. From the splendid Sunday lunch, our room with glorious sea views, the gorgeous spa to the friendliest staff - we could not have asked for better. Hannah and Beth - such cheery front of house welcomers! Hannah was completely jolly with authentic enthusiasm. Millie at the spa was a real joy, truly lovely her job, and it showed. Chance, in the restaurant was uber attentive and made our time so special. The food on every level was incredible and the bakery goods (all made on site!) where all second to non! A much needed break and it delivered on every level - thank you, we will be back!

Food review: We ate at The Wild Cafe, and I can honestly say I’ve just eaten the best steak of my life. I cannot stop thinking about it. This was after the best scallops I’ve EVER had, what a privilege! The scallops came with roasted cauli, a creamy parmesan sauce and these crispy bacon shards, creating the perfect variation of texture. But let’s not take away from the steak that followed. The waiter mentioned it was locally sourced, which is great — but for me, it was all about the execution. The sear was absolutely perfect, that rich garlic butter melting slowly over the top, the Parmesan fries on the side, and then that deep, dark, unapologetically indulgent peppercorn sauce. Every bite was ridiculous. I never want to forget how good this was! My wife and I visited during a very busy Valentine’s Day service, and despite the pressure, everything was flawless. Truly, utterly the best steak I’ve ever eaten. I came here married… but I’m now questioning whether I also need to marry the chef.

We headed down to Bedruthan over New Year and I was incredibly impressed with the location, the sea view room, the spa, sensory garden all of it was fantastic. But what really set it apart was the staff, every single one of them was polite, helpful and genuinely seemed happy to be there. An extra point of note was the staff at the Ogo restaurant especially Sally were amazing the food was superb, the New Years Eve wine pairing spot on. I will beheading back for certain 10 out of 10.
