Hostal La Calzada

We really loved it! Perfectly situated in a quiet alley close to the church and old town bars. Clean room and had everything that was needed! The only thing was the electric trip switch box was buzzing, but it was not a problem.

I did not have the pleasure of staying in this hostal. However, I will say the lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. My friend and I had just arrived in Tarifa from Tangier and were trying to somehow get in contact with our car service to head back to Malaga and with no connection to wifi in sight, she offered to call the car service and confirm the pick time and location, all the while attending to new guests. She was very sweet and courtesy, my friend and I are very grateful for her help. Unfortunately we never got her name, but her help saved us from an unnecessary overnight stay in Tarifa. Thank you!

Excellent hostal. Really close to the harbor and the city center. The rooms are well maintained and very clean. The staff is really kind and helpful.
