HOTEL GRI-MAR

Charming hotel with huge pool. Rooms were spacious, clean with large balcony. Lovely restaurant with great food, outside seating for breakfast had lovely views over the valley. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful giving us lots of tips on what to see and do. It is a little out of town but it is possible to walk in via an off road path just opposite the hotel entrance, took about 10 mins but trainers/walking shoes would be needed - not for high heels!

It's a likeable place, this family run hotel, with its charming air of faded glory from a bygone glamorous age. I am not sure Llança ever became the hoped-for tourist magnet, but it's a pretty place by the glorious azure of the Med and in the lee of the Pyrenean foothills. The road running by can be a bit noisy but the views from the room balconies are tranquil and lovely. Two issues mark it down for me. One was the somewhat unambitious kitchen at dinner, with its dull and conventional menu rather boringly cooked. The other was the sheer sparseness of the accommodations. There's nothing in the rooms except for the bare minimum, not even a little complementary bottle of water. I know times are tough, but they really could try just a little bit harder. On the other hand the staff are lovely, there's ample parking and the breakfast is outstanding. So, overall, I would come back.

The friendliest place I've ever been to. A family owned hotel, where you feel like a part when you are their guest! All I can do is recommend!! They are there for you, if you need help with anything.. Thank you so much, it was a pleasure to be your guest❤️
