For my wife and I, backpacking the Pennine Way, our stay here on June 16 was a welcome one-night change from our usual wild camping routine. Charming home; nice bedroom with comfy bed; private bathroom (we badly needed showers!); delicious and filling dinner and breakfast. Lana is a very friendly and accommodating host.

Absolutely delightful place to stay! We slept so well, thanks! Very friendly and helpful hosts who made us feel incredibly welcome. Very pretty, good sized room and a delicious breakfast. They were even able to provide us with an evening meal because the pub was closed! Perfect for the Pennine Way.

We had a fabulous one night stay, while walking to JOG. Lana had a meal (chicken casserole) prepared for us, delicious. Lots of veggies that we love. And my chocolate cake, so yum. Our room was large and comfy. Good shower and love the heated floor. Great drying rack available too. There is a guest lounge and fireplace too. So comfortable. Cooked breakfast available too. Highly recommend.
