Hotel Lärchenhof

The wellness area looks modern. The hotel/ Gasthof is a bit old. Down below where the playroom for kids feels creepy 🥴 Don't go down there alone 😆 No easy access for strollers or people with disability using wheelchair if you will enter the hotel. We have a baby and I literally have to lift the strollers in and out of the main entrance bcos of the stairs. The hallway stinks too. Smells old and some weird chemical, maybe from housekeeping. We availed half board. The morning buffet was fine, not so spectacular. The dinner on the other hand was better. Tho the inconvenient part was you have to go out of the hotel and transfer to the neighbouring building so you can eat there. Restaurant is not on the same building. A bit inconvenient for me since it was winter and its cold. You have to wear thick clothes and then take it off again for a minute or two walk. Definitely not a 5 star for me.

Stayed in newer part of hotel and it was pristine. Plenty of room for the 4 of us (teens in bunks, small kitchenette). Most of the staff was very friendly - even when we thought we threw our keys in the trash when we were trying to leave they didn't accuse of being stupid Americans (keys were found in room). Breakfast was simply amazing. Spa was great - bit inconveient to go across parking lot to clothed area but it worked out. Right on main street so not much ambiance but great view of mountains from pool and view from balcony of train was quaint. (train was not loud)

I had the most amazing experience at this hotel. The location is perfect and the views are unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. The staff are extremely friendly!! The breakfast was delicious and the pool/spa was beautiful. I hope to come back one day and recommend it to everyone!! 10/10
