Leadstone Camping

Great place, Nikki was super friendly and all of the facilities were spotless, some of the best have ever experienced. Would stay again if we ever visited the area again. The showers are 20p and last 5 mins, which is plenty of time we found. 40p was enough for my wife to wash her long thick hair. The charge is only to keep the queues down in summer.

Absolutely lovely camp site. We were with another family and booked 3 pitches together. The pitches are generously sized. Water taps on the ends of the row. There was food every evening from the vans and breakfast options in the morning as well as drinks and ice creams throughout the day. There is only 8 showers on the site but due to the 20p charge it keeps them available constantly. None of us waited on a shower for more than 5 minutes. The facilities are immaculately clean and the staff can be seen cleaning constantly. Quiet time after 10:30pm and this is either generally respected or it's enforced as we barely heard a peep after that time. There's every facility you could need or want on this site. You can walk to the beach fronts from the site down the roads either way and get there within 20 minutes. Forest Fungi next door serves a lovely breakfast. As a group and personally we/I would highly recommend this site. Huge thanks to all the staff for making it so pleasant they really do work hard at it and deserve high praise.

Traditional quiet (yet family friendly) campsite on gently rolling fields in a great location (chocks needed). Horsebox tuck trucks serving hot food, coffees, ice creams etc. 15 minutes walk to Dawlish Warren for the beach, 30 minutes walk into Dawlish, bus stop outside and frequent trains from Warren across south Devon. 20p for showers (which works quite well as there's not many for the size of the site and stops people hogging them!) This was our 3rd visit here, we like it.
