Astoria

We loved this experience! The staff were extremely welcoming and funny. We had a real home feel in the hotel. We booked for a bigger group and everything went smooth with it. Really big fan if this place and hope we come return soon! The tunnel entrance is closeby but we could not hear the traffic from the rooms, they’re quiet.

We needed accommodation at the last minute due to an error with our booking elsewhere. The staff at the Astoria were very helpful. Our room had amazing views with a balcony. Although it would have been nice to have chairs on the balcony so we could sit and enjoy the view. The breakfast included a variety of foods and beverages, and the staff were present to assist and replenish dishes.

For a 3* hotel this is darn good with decent breakfast. The person in charge when we were there, Ennio, (sorry if I misspelled) a gem of a person, very helpful and makes amazing hot chocolate.
