Wonderful camping stay along C2C! Quiet, clean, and ticks all the essential boxes, would highly recommend. Didn't get to meet any of the hosts/managers due to late arrival, but kudos to them all

Great stop over on the Pennine Way if you don't fancy the extra 4 miles into Alston. Availability of a full kitchen and a cupboard of food you can make a donation for makes up for the lack of places to eat in the village. We were the only poeple camping on the green at the back of the hall and had a very peaceful nights sleep.

Stopped here to hide from the rain before heading up to Greg's Hut. Just a great place to rest and recharge.
