Hotel Torre del Conde - La Gomera

Stayed here 6 nights as part of a walking group. A couple of big German walking groups were staying at the same time. The reception staff were friendly. The hotel is well located for everything in San Sebastian, including the ferry, beach, museums, cafes and restaurants, shops. The breakfast buffet was fine, neither the best nor worst, albeit a bit repetitive after 6 days. Some hot food as well as cold. It was usually busy/crowded immediately on opening at 7.30am. My room was spacious, quiet, comfortable, quite modern. Towels, linens and toiletries were good. The bed and pillows were comfortable. A kettle in the room would have been appreciated. I had issues with the wifi dropping out. And the last morning there was a cockroach in my room.

Room is comfortable and clean. No kettle or tea/coffee in the room. No shower get etc in the toilet/shower so because aware. Breakfast choice was reasonable and decent. Coffee machines at breakfast are an acquired taste. Orange juice 👍 Storage facilities available for cases and use of a shower after check out so that's a plus. It's bang in town so another good point. Overall I would stay here again 👍

This hotel is a little gem! The location is absolutely perfect, everything you need is close by. Fran on reception was fantastic, nothing was too much, he was really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely, everything fresh and clean and plenty to choose from, Miguel the waiter was lovely and gave us some great tips for exploring the island. Overall an great experience and will definitely be coming back!
