We had a really lovely stay here - Tonia and her husband are such kind and attentive hosts, they really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and felt welcome, including so many special generous touches for my daughter. The accommodation itself is spotless and to a high standard, and we really enjoyed the relaxing, peaceful beautiful surroundings, which they spend so much time and energy caring for and it really shows. It was also the perfect location to explore lots of local towns, nothing was too far away so to speak, but it was also great to just relax by the pool when it was too hot to explore. We really loved our stay here and can’t wait to be back, would highly recommend!

We stayed nine nights at Domus Petri 1908, which is a beautiful self-catering holiday accommodation just outside Cisternino in Puglia. We had received good instructions to find the location, and were immediately struck by the charm of the property. We were warmly welcomed by Tonia and Pietro, the owners, who showed us around and helped us to transfer our luggage into our one-bedroom unit, L'Ulivo. It is one of just three units on the property, with accommodation for a maximum of just eight people in total. The main building is a traditional trullo (dated 1908 hence the name of the property), which houses a two-bedroom unit, Il Melograno, and another one-bedroom unit, Il Fico d'India. Everything around the property is immaculate. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen in our unit were all well-equipped and comfortable. The shaded area immediately outside with tables and chairs was perfect for sitting, drinking and eating for breakfast, lunch and supper. The pool is a good size and is kept spotlessly clean, both the water and the surrounds. With only a maximum of eight people staying, it would never be crowded, and, as it happened, we actually had it mostly to ourselves when we used it. In summary, Domus Petri 1908 is a very relaxing place to stay and we would certainly choose to stay there again on any future visit to the area.

Last year we had the absolute pleasure of staying at Domus Petri 1908. The accommodation was super comfortable, superbly maintained, with many extra high quality inclusions and facilities to make our stay one of the most memorable of the trip. The outdoor seating provided views over the beautifully maintained garden and the sparkling pool. The hosts were most accommodating and welcoming. We extended our stay, loved every minute of it, and are hoping to return soon.
