Refuge de Pailha

Very pleasant cottage with a wonderful crew that left us with unforgettable emotions. Due to the limited capacity, everyone was close to each other. Dinner is very tasty and breakfast is also at a decent level. Accommodation is acceptable considering the clientele, mostly tourists visiting this area of the Pyrenees. Location is amazing.

A little slice of paradise... We spent two nights in this charming, intimate guesthouse. The volunteers gave us a warm welcome, the meals were excellent, the setting was magnificent—everything was perfect for an exceptional stay! A huge thank you to the volunteers for their dedication.

A perfect welcome, an idyllic setting, a wonderful break in a wonderful place. Kudos to the volunteers who welcomed us so warmly. The food was perfect (garbure, duck shepherd's pie...), quite an achievement in this isolated corner of the mountains, an hour and a half from the village of Gavarnie. We were pampered by three friendly locals from Gers who were running the refuge this week.
