Refuge Biadós

Beautiful location with great and helpful staff, decent food and better-than-standard dorms. Tip: we visited in July and brought our sleeping bags and warm clothes. The rooms got very hot at night so we did not need all the warm layers.

My favourite Refugio during our August Tour of Posets. It’s the kind of place you want to hit for a rest day. Next to a little creek, with a garden shaded by a large tree to hang out under to escape the sun. Supping on a cold beer and a fresh longanzinas sausage sandwich from the kitchen…and for dinner: soup, then a big plate of vegetables followed by a delicious beef stew. Plus the local wine we ordered was top! Very clean rooms, some rooms even sleep only 4. Luxury! There is an outdoor kitchen where you can cook or wash your stuff, and if you arrive early before the rooms are open, you can spend the waiting time having a shower — common bathrooms are one flight of stairs up from the ground. They really do their best to accommodate hikers. Also: the view 😮of the mountain range with the peaks Espadas and la Forquetta is 👌🦋, and the hikes from there (for example to Forchetta) are 🤘. Don’t forget to fold your blanket before you leave!

Very cozy hut with friendly stuff and comfortable rooms. The outside area in front of the hut has a very relaxed chill out area, especially if the sun is shining. There is also a kitchen to use for own cooking.
