Mount Royal

Tom and Melanie were the best hosts ever.What a beautiful guest home.Breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Room was spotless.A truly amazing place to stay. The sea view from the room was magnificent. Their hospitality goes far beyond words.Touches your heart.

We stayed at Mount Royal for our honeymoon and Tom & Melanie made sure we had a lovely time. Our room had a great view of the sea to sit by and relax. Breakfast was delicious with good vegetarian options. We would definitely stay here again!

Effectively a B & B and not a hotel. Nice room with good view over the bay but a lock of toiletries and small bath towels. The bed was narrow and there were no tumbler glasses just a couple of mis matched wine glasses and little choice of tea and coffee in the room. The location was not good as the road outside was very busy and very noise and there was no way to get over the railway line to walk by the beach. There was a lack of nice restaurants in the local area and no where reasonable to walk to the harbour and the town were rather run down and a disappointment. We would not visit again.
