Basel Marriott Hotel

One of the finest Marriott properties I've ever stayed at with rooms that have new fixtures and finishes. The lobby is inviting with a great bar. And the attached restaurant for the complimentary breakfast is quite fantastic highly recommends this particular Marriott.

Not sure about the other comments but the room ac works. The room itself is a very nice 'US' size too., very modern and complete with all the usual amenities. Staff was very pleasant and professional. Location is excellent, close the local tram, next to the convention center, and maybe a 10 to 15 min. walk in either direction to Munsterplatz or Klaraplatz. But why walk, there's the free tram (just make sure you have the tourist only, ride free card given by the hotel). The western style breakfast buffet was very good, with pretty much everything you expect. Overall just a wonderful place to stay in Basel.

We had a fabulous stay at the Marriott! The front desk team was so lovely, welcoming, and very informative about local events and train connections. Our room was cozy, with great amenities, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious and filling — they even had a gluten-free menu! Hospitality was spot on throughout our stay. The only minor flaw was that the AC wasn’t working properly, so we had to open the window at times for some cool air. Otherwise, we absolutely loved our stay!
