Very nice place and hosting! We walked from theth to valbona, the location is amazing if you want to save a 3 kilometer approximately to valbona. We had a little bit difficulty to find the place, because google maps and maps me navigation are not so accurate. The room is very simple and cozy, great for travellers that look for nice, quiet, and simple room. The dinner was nice and simple, and cost 30-35 € for couple. But you must know that the vegetarian options are limited. The breakfest was nice, we asked to pack sandwiches for the way and she packed it for us. They are very nice family!

The room was really cold, which is understatable for september in the mountains, but there was no heating in the room (but the pipes are there...?!). There was so much moisture in the air that was nearly impossible to dry yourself after shower. After I asked, the host provided small electric heater, but this thing couldn't handle this cold and moisture and also it looked like it was 60 years old and ready to burn itself any moment, we were afraid to leave it on for the night. Outlets on the walls were 'secured' with paper tape so it was possible to put your finger into the wires. You couldn't turn the light off completely and I had to unscrew lightbulb to be able to sleep. Be sure to use the toilet first and then take a shower, otherwise everything will be soaking after shower - it's just a shower head mounted to the wall in a tiny tiny bathroom. Maybe I wouldn't complain about all above, but the dinner crossed the line. 35€ for 2 people dinner is a price that I've paid in fancy restaurants on the coast. Here I got: 2 old rolls, a 'salad' which was just tomatoes, cucumber and onions, a small bowl of tasteless soup, a big portion of cooked rice with pea and corn and a pan of fried potatoes with really few meat slices. Additionally, contact with the host was really hard even with google translate, seemed like the lady didn't want to understand what I'm saying, but maybe it was just poor translation, don't know. Location is amazing though and it's the only good thing I can say.

We’d love to leave a few kind words about our stay. It was truly a wonderful experience. We were very impressed by the location, the atmosphere, and most of all by our host Flori and his lovely family. They welcomed us with so much care, warmth, and hospitality. They waited for us until late in the evening, as we were crossing the country from south to north for the first time. On the way, they messaged us to check if we needed help or if someone should meet us. It felt very comforting. The food and breakfast were delicious. They looked after us the whole time and often asked if we needed anything. When we had a request, they helped right away. We really felt at home and very well taken care of. To be honest, we enjoyed our time here even more than by the sea. The nature, the feeling, the people – everything is so different here. It’s a peaceful and special place. We truly recommend everyone to visit. This is probably the only place from our trip that we would really love to come back to if we’re ever nearby in Albania again.
