Little Clifden Campsite

You have to pay £1 for just 4 minutes of a low-pressure shower, which is in the same room as the toilet—so you can imagine the smell while you’re trying to wash. There’s no fridge available and no sheltered area to cook if it’s rainy or windy. The pitches are on a slope, making it hard to get comfortable. The only truly positive aspect was the view, which was stunning.

Absolutely lovely, simple and quintessential. Sally is very accommodating and offers her friendly help, sends a txt the day before you arrive, touching base. It's quiet, free to camp where you like, beautiful scenery. Book direct for savings, came top 9 in the pitch up awards. Basic amenities but it's all you want when wild (ish) camping. Clean as best as can be, being a campsite. Shower takes 2x 50p but are really nice! Unisex toilets and showers but the radio is on to help 😉 very close to lots of places to visit, lots of cheap parking and the best fish n chips I've had, from the town centre, pasties shop definitely worth a visit too, would book again 🤩

This is our second stay here and we love it. It's in a great location and the staff are very friendly. Showers and washrooms are very basic, a shower costs £1 for 4 mins in 50p's. Still a great place to stay and at the time of writing it only costs £20 per night
