I was happy with the room, location, and service, though I did find the hotel a little tricky to locate. Google Maps misinterpreted the address from the invoice and sent me up a narrow, slightly harrowing mountain road at twilight, which I would’ve preferred to avoid. That said, the staff answered the phone promptly and gave excellent assistance to get me back on track. Breakfast was perfectly fine, the bar served excellent beer, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I liked my stay there. I am sure many will feel the price is too high, though. This is a mountain inn—not a luxury or boutique hotel—but it’s superbly clean, the staff is kind, and the whole place feels comfortable and you just can’t beat a little Dolomite village for charm - especially one with such superb access to Lago di Braies .

I'll start by saying it's a convenient location, half an hour from Cortina, Brunico, and San Candido. The apartment is really dark, very clean, but the induction hob is shameful. Only full power is needed, and two pots are half full and gone. The bathroom is completely dark and has no extractor, so the smell of poop lingers for the entire holiday unless you do something extra. There's only a bathtub with a shower, but no shower attachment or curtain, so it floods. Nice room with a hard bed and an uncomfortable pillow, and an open sink in the bedroom... as well as a tuina center! And then we had to wake up at 6:00, maybe earlier... noises everywhere... P.S. There's no bidet... it's a shame. Then there's the location, because it can do a lot... the price is unfortunately high for what we were offered in December 2024... and they haven't called us yet for something of little value we forgot, but still nothing. At least a bar of soap or something in the fridge, a mini Christmas decoration or something... but not yet.
