Avalon Guest House

Stayed at Avalon guesthouse for a couple of nights to run the Loch Ness Marathon and I was just blown away by how lovely their B&B is and how at home I felt. Everything is absolutely spotless, there's tonnes of little touches to make you feel at home (My room had make up remover wipes in the bathroom, a little bottle of sherry to sample, some amazing locally baked cupcakes, local soap, even an eye mask and ear plugs for lighter sleepers). As well as the normal things like kettle and tea tray, hairdryer etc. They even got up extra early in the morning to make sure breakfast was available before the race for everyone! It's always a bit nerve racking booking somewhere that you've never laid eyes on, but you should believe all the raving reviews on here - it's a lovely place to stay!

Beautiful guest house. Very clean and tidy. Parking on the property and very easy walk into town. Val and Paul very good hosts. Great breakfast. They were happy to give us recommendations on what to see and where to eat.

Our experience at the Avalon was nothing but exceptional. The room was immaculate and so cute. We loved the little touches from the chocolates to the teddy bear used to say if cleaning was needed. Breakfast was delicious! My daughter and i both had the French toast with fresh fruit and loved it. The owners are just delightful! 10/10 would stay there again!
