Cruna di Subida wine country house

Fantastic small hotel in a beautiful part of Friuli. Rooms were excellent quality and the hosts were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was great. And their two dogs were lovely too! Would definitely come again.

We chanced upon this region of Italy, a hidden gem seemingly unknown to most tourists, while seeking refuge from floods in Slovenia, and it quickly captured our hearts. The facilities at this hotel are as magnificent as they appear in the photos, but what truly distinguishes this place is the exceptional warmth and generosity of the people who run it. They know what the essence of the good life is, which is precisely what draws us to vacation here. Not only did they serve fantastic wines, but they also secured us a reservation at the finest osteria we’ve ever dined at in Italy. Their kindness extended even beyond our stay, allowing us to linger by the swimming pool after we had checked out. We can’t thank them enough for their generosity and hospitality. Wishing them all the success in this new venture, we look forward to reconnecting in the future after our baby is born, just as we promised!
