Camping Nosy

The drive up is tricky but scenic. We were very warmly received by the owners and their pony. Got given some freshly picked plums. Overall a lovely, quiet spot with incredible mountain views. They do, unfortunately, charge extra for using the showers.

The name of the camping is actually Nosy, named after the wallnut and not noisy, like google maps suggested. So it has nothing to do with the sound. The ambiance is really nice, cows, goats and birds of prey. The owners are friendly, they gave us some of their own vegetable and fruit harvest. The campsite has some bungalows and caravans, but we put up our tent. From here you can drive up a few miles to do some amazing mountainhikes. There is also a via ferrata nearby @oropa. Finally there is a picknick or dining area at the gate whick gives an amazing panorama on the valley below. Be warned! The drive up to the campside is small and full of curves: a typical italian mountainroad.

We had a lovely stay and were greated with kindness and generosity. The number listed on Google maps is a landline which doesn't always have service. However you can contact the mobile phone number (see attached photo) via WhatsApp or SMS as well☺️
