Mercure Inverness Hotel

Everyone has been so kind to us during this stay. Sarah and Megan has been amazing to us, they both work at the front desk. Also Nazarin and Isla at the bar. Breakfast is buffet and so yummy, there are plenty of options to choose. Rooms are big and cosy, very warm as well. Nice views too. I fully recommend everyone to come to this place we're definitely coming back whenever we have the chance.

We booked the cheapest room so didn’t expect anything outstanding. The room was far bigger than I expected & reasonably well equipped. My only two complaints are a lack of plug sockets or USB near the bed & the kettle was too tall to be filled from the sink tap. All the staff were absolutely lovely, we dropped our bags off in the morning & they called to say our room was ready early. They’d brought our bags out ready for us when we arrived, nice touch! We ate dinner & breakfast in the restaurant. Dinner was a long time arriving due to a system breakdown between restaurant & kitchen but the food was beautiful. Breakfast buffet was great too. All in all an excellent value night !

Spacious (premium) room, good shower and coffee facilities, and a nice view of the river. High quality breakfast and decent range of evening meal and drink options on site - and plenty more within walking distance if you want to go out. 5 mins walk from the station. Car park looked a bit small for the size of hotel but I didn't have a car on this trip so can't say if that was really a problem
