Castleton camping

Had such a great bank holiday weekend here. It was very busy, but it didnt take away from the serenity of the site. The views are really spectacular at all angles, its a direct path up to mam tor and a shortish walk into castleton. Even though it was busy, the owner took a lot of time to refresh the toilet block so it was always clean. The washing up area was also clean with sponge and washing up liquid provided. Can't wait to come back.

Beautiful campaign field. The toilets are spotless. There's a big sink outside the toilet area with a lot of washing supplies in general. The honesty box is super handy, and the location is great. You can easily walk anywhere from there. And the owner is super friendly and helpful, our fave campaign!

Great location for a no frills campsite. Great views looking out to Mam Tor and a half mile walk into Castleton via a scenic route along a public footpath through the adjacent fields or you can walk down the stone track. The toilet facilities on site are kept super clean. What else do you need. Camped here several times now and would recommend it if you just want to get away from it all.
