Forest Lodge

The owners went above and beyond to make sure I was well fed, comfortable and looked after, after long days walking. They picked me up from the trail and returned me the next day to avoid walking on the A82, and the food was homemade and delicious. They have something special here. Recommend in the highest terms.

Lovely couple of people running this place! The room was clean and quiet. The food was good and it should be noted that they offered a dinner as well during my stay. If you are on foot, there is a short walk along a pretty busy roadway.

This is a lovely little guest house. Lorraine and Laura are super hosts, the rooms they provide are wonderfully inviting after a long day's walking, and the food on offer is excellent. What made the stay special was the chance to sit and chat with this lovely couple. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I recommend a stay here without reservation - and do try the home made ginger cake, it's delicious.
