We hiked up from Sillian with our 5 year old. The hike was steep (we took the off-road trail) but with a flat middle part. We arrived around 14h and we took turns in hiking up to the ridge while our 5 year old enjoyed the playground, the sheep, rabbits, chickens etc, Duplo, ... We had a warm welcome, rooms were perfect, shower splendid, food delicious. Would definitely recommend to families with young kids, but it's also very nice & quiet out there in the evenings & at night, so it's not just a place for kids.

This is a place at 1800 sealevel which you can reach with the car...fanastic food ..and great hospitality
