Hotel Luze Boutique San Sebastián

A beautiful hotel with excellent dining and fabulous staff. What a little gem…you turn the corner and surprise! Awesome gardens and gorgeous architecture. The hotel is traditional with a modern feel. The spa is fantastic. All of the staff are super friendly and can’t do enough. We ate in the bistro and dinner was excellent. Breakfast was good too. We are returning at the end of our trip to stay again and eat in the Michelin restaurant with friends. They made our dog feel really welcome and fussed over her and she was delighted with the biscuits in the room for her! This could be a new favourite of ours.

Amazing hotel. Rooms were clean, staff go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. Their restaurant just earned a Michelin Star recently so the food is really good. Enjoyed the spa as well. They have a sauna, steam room, indoor pool, hot tub, and gym. The spa is 30 euros per person to use.

My son and I stayed at Hotel Luze in July and had such a great experience. The hotel feels fresh and thoughtfully designed, and our room was genuinely beautiful—stylish, calm, and very comfortable. A special mention to Borja (the hotel manager/director) and his whole team: they were fantastic from start to finish and did everything they could to make our stay easy and comfortable. The infinity pool is a highlight—amazing to swim with those wide, open sea views in front of you. And the breakfast… honestly excellent: fresh, high-quality ingredients, great bread and pastries, and you can feel the care in it. It’s part of the hotel’s broader food offering, which is run by chef Iñigo Lavado and his family (they also run the on-site restaurant), and it shows. We left genuinely happy—and yes, we’d absolutely consider coming back.
