Il Pollaio or the hen house, is good value and has a friendly host, Pietro, who speaks good English. I shared a clean, good-sized room for 4 with one other who was also walking the via francigena. We had a clean ensuite bathroom with hot water plus balcony. The only improvement I'd like to suggest is to create a hangout space in the backyard.

The house is beautifully designed, the dormitory space is spacious and bright, the bathroom is clean. there is no kitchen, but it does not affect the quality of accommodation. The host is very friendly and provides guests with a safe and convenient space.

A very comfortable and clean space with kind and sensitive hosts. Lovely rural setting and local facility (100meters) providing food and beverages. The perfect place for Pilgrims wishing to shorten the 30k route on this VF stage.
