Hotel Clipa

This hotel is a hidden gem in Romania we were traveling from turkey towards England and this hotel was a life saver after long drive in middle of Europe we stopped at clipa hotel the room was massive super clean and had a nice view, the air conditioning was so good we could sleep so good, next morning we had a wonderful breakfast at the lobby which is so modern and clean the staff were so friendly and kind, I highly recommend it

Being in transit I booked the room at this hotel thanks to Google Maps reviews and although I wasn't completely convinced of the choice I made I decided to try the restaurant for dinner first. The staff is very kind and friendly, the food is very good and the service is relatively fast. Access to the rooms is done with a code received at check-in via the NFC reader on the phone, nothing special as amenities, it is clean and a little noisy on the side with the terrace. Breakfast is a Swedish buffet and is served from 07:30 to 10:00. All in all a pleasant experience at a fair price.

The hotel had a great appearance, but my experience was negatively affected by smoking inside. They claimed it was allowed on the terrace, but the area was completely enclosed with no fresh air. This was very inconsiderate for non-smoking guests and families with kids. We struggled to enjoy dinner, and the smoke was overwhelming on the second morning, even reaching the second floor. Breakfast at 9:30 was disappointing; the omlette was cold and the ingredients seemed low quality. On the bright side, the room was spacious and clean.
