Sligachan Campsite

This site has a great location and some pretty amazing ing views. Only about 25 min drive to fairy pools. Restaurant/ bar across the road but the onsite taco place is much better. Close to a main road so pitches on that side can get a lot of noise. Toilets / showers in dire need of refurbishment.

Lovely location, that’s where the positives for us ended sadly. Overcrowded site more like an aire than a site so £25 felt steep. The chemical toilet empty point was the worst with no hose only a tap so the remains of paper and all sorts are all over the pan and the smell is awful. Would not recommend sadly.

I pitched my tent here after my hike from Portree. Unfortunately, the weather turned very bad during the hike and I was soaked. The staff were very helpful and friendly to dry my clothes and offered tips for during my stay. There are washing machines, toilets, and showers which are all well maintained.
