Chalet l'Aubépine Résidence Séjour et b&b Bessans

Don’t use this residence. A lovely lady who has a guide dog had her booking cancelled because of the guide dog. The owner of the property tried to charge her more because of the dog - also illegal. Then said it was ok when the lady sent all her details proving disability. Then a few days before arrival she had a note saying she herself had cancelled the booking - which of course she hadn’t. She was due to be in a competition and now cannot get accommodation. Absolutely disgusting and illegal behaviour by this B and B. The lady is so upset, it was her dream to compete here and now it looks like she can’t. Shame on you!

I never stayed and I don't intend to. They go against the law and refuse guide dogs, plus they discriminate disabled people, so it's a big no.

It is UNACCEPTABLE, and, furthermore ILLEGAL to refuse a blind woman because she owns a service dog. This woman is a para-athlete that was about to compete. I honestly hope this place closes.
