"Zum Hechten" - Altstadthotel & Restaurant

As another reviewer said, this hotel is a gem. The room itself was great. It was not particularly fancy, but we found it to be very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic. We had dealings with two different people at reception. Both were extremely friendly and helpful. They both gave us great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Finally, the location could not be better - a five-minute walk from the train station, and easily walkable to all the restaurants of the Altstadt. We would happily stay here again.

Our family of four had a great stay here. Our suite had a private patio, two rooms, two bathrooms, and was very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. Parking is limited unfortunately. But the location was unbeatable, right in the heart of Füssen, with easy access to all the sights and delicacies in old town. Walking trails to the nearby waterfall are also very accessible. Highly recommend!

Wonderful hotel. Rooms were large and clean. No AC, but windows open it cools off at night. Breakfast each day was really good with lots to choose from. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
