The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Venice

My wife and I loved our time here! The hotel is beautiful and the staff are welcoming and helpful. They have great vegan options for breakfast and on their in-room-dining menu, which we really appreciate. Overall a perfect experience and thank you for the amazing visit!

We had an amazing experience. The hotel is expensive, but it’s worth it. The staff is incredible, we were treated like family over Christmas. It was so special, this is a great place to go with family. Here’s a story that shows the level of service - I called to ask about getting a steamer for the room and help cleaning up a glass that I broke, we mentioned off hand that our hotel phone kept getting line busy, within 3 minutes, they had an engineer fixing the phone, someone had come to sweep the glass, and we had an ice bucket. Party in our room!! We did Christmas in the rooms so special. We also indulged In breakfast which is amazing, better than the Il San Pietro Positano which we thought couldn’t be beat. Great food, there was Prosecco, so many foods, so many smoked meats, it was the best of everything. I miss it already! So much more charm and warmth than the Aman. Really, I love this hotel. Thank you thank you thank you Gritti palace staff!!

We celebrated my partner's birthday at the Gritti Palace and we left in pure wonder. Of course the building is unbeliavable nut the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and spoiled. Pierluigi and Lara at the reception gives the right level of friendliness and professionalism that only elite trained hopistality staff knows how to give. And this was true across every level, from the restaurant, to the bar and the concierge. Few examples: everyone knew it was my partner's birthday before our arrival and greeted us with friendliness and respect but never crossing the lines. The breakfast is arguably the best in the world...as an Italian I don't think I ever had better pastries in my life. The concierge found us two royal circle tickets for La Traviata at La Fenice on the same that got even upgraded (which is virtually impossible) just because we were from Gritti. Everywhere we went in Venice we were welcomed with the outmost respect and best tables just by mentioning Gritti. In other words, the Palace is incredible but the staff makes it unforgettable
