Strandhotel PRINZ

Rooms were clean nothing fancy old style, but comfy. It was a bit too warm, but night saved us. The staff is very friendly, and fast and helpful. We went with our dog. The hotel was absolutely dog friendly and had a beautiful location. Dogs can go in the water with their owners. Very cosy with lots of sunbeds. Unfortunately its not possible to rent boats or sups, but you can do it in Ossiach elsewhere. All summer long there are nice concert in the abbey. Ossiach itself is great and this hotel worth a visit if you need some peace. :) Food was excellent.

Time has stopped in this hotel long ago. Service was really nice and truly 5*. The biggest disappointment was no toiletries in the bathroom! And no place to charge your phone. Modest breakfast, disaster pillow :( We paid 245€ for one night! In the room everything is so outdated that it is really difficult to justify the price. But once again - Service 12 points out of 5 :D

Beautiful in its simplicity, wonderful place for travelers looking for place to rest and recharge ( and probably not for tourists who are looking for 5 star modern hotel). We had a two rooms place with a big balcony and view over the lake. Rooms were clean and tidy, just a shower was placed unusually as it was detached and placed in the hall with curtains. I saw bad reviews on google and went with kind of low expectations and some fears. None of them did materialize. The owners are very friendly and hardworking. We arrived late, around 21.30. Despite the fact that the kitchen was closed, the owner made us a toast and fries. Plus 🍺. The lake is good for swimming, without crowds, good entrance to the lake. When we travel to Austria again I will stay there.
