Hotel Marxant

We stayed here while hiking the GR11 and had a wonderful experience. The owner / staff were very warmhearted, attentive, friendly (and also funny!). Our room was spacious and comfortable. We took the dinner menu and the food was excellent. Breakfast was fine as well. Unfortunately, during our stay, another guest and her friend shared food and later even returned to take away fruit, which was a bit disappointing. This, of course, had nothing to do with the accommodation itself, which we otherwise enjoyed very much.

I don’t normally write reviews for having a drink somewhere but we stopped here yesterday on the gr11 and were greeted but a middle aged bartender, maybe the owner? He was an absolutely great host, really friendly and genuinely made the experience a lot better! If we ever return we will be sure to come and say hello. Thanks very much!

Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff and the waiter in the restaurant in the evening was very helpful and spoke great English. The hotel was clean and perfectly placed for starting and finishing the Porta Del Cel walk.
