Camasunary Bothy

I stayed here during my solo hike as I appreciated the great views. Later, more hikers joined up and we had a great time together playing games together. The place is decently maintained and you can easily get water from a nearby stream. There are no bathrooms, so keep that in mind when staying here for free.

A very spacious bothy here! Stayed for 2 days and met many friendly people. But be careful, midges are welcome around 😣 Fun fact: you can fit more than 25 people inside.

Beautiful and remote location, but the amount of bunk space suggests this could be a busy bothy in the summer months. Visited in November, on one of the best winter days I've ever had on Skye.
