Restaurant Bellevue des Alpes

The restaurant on the terrace of Hotel Bellevue des Alpes is simply unforgettable. The view alone is worth the visit: majestic, calm, and absolutely breathtaking. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The food matched the setting perfectly: fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully presented. Everything tasted honest and high quality- exactly what you hope for after being out in the mountains. Whether you come for a full meal or just to sit with a coffee and take in the view, it feels like time slows down in the best possible way. This is the kind of place you remember and want to come back to. A perfect combination of scenery, atmosphere, and hospitality. Highly recommended!

I did not stay at the hotel, but I had lunch here after walking from Wengen to Kleine Scheidegg. I enjoyed a delicious beetroot and quinoa salad. The terrace and the view, perfect for enjoying good food and sunshine, are what make this place so special. Also, despite it being high season in the mountains, it doesn’t feel crowded. Just the right balance.

⭐ 1 Star – Racist and Discriminatory Treatment This was one of the most humiliating hotel experiences I have ever had. The lady manager on duty was extremely rude, disrespectful, and openly discriminatory towards us because we are Indian. When we politely requested something as basic as a chair, we were met with hostility and were told words to the effect of “This place is not for you.” This statement was shocking, offensive, and clearly racist. No guest should ever be spoken to in this manner, regardless of nationality. Instead of hospitality, we were made to feel unwelcome and insulted. The manager’s tone throughout was arrogant and dismissive, showing a complete lack of professionalism and basic human decency. Such behavior is unacceptable, especially in an establishment that claims to serve international guests. I strongly caution Indian travelers and anyone who values respectful treatment to think twice before staying here. Racism has no place in hospitality. 30/12/25
