Camping Jungfrau

This campground was a perfect central base for our three-night stay in the Jungfrau area. Its location is fantastic, offering direct and excellent views of Staubbach Falls. Here are a few key points from our stay: Access: The main vehicle gates close at 10 PM sharp, so you must arrive before then to drive in. However, you can walk in and out at any time. Facilities: The washrooms and toilets were consistently clean and well-maintained. Toilet paper is provided, but you'll need to bring your own body wash. Amenities: We were happy to have access to a communal kitchen and a lounge. The kitchen can get very busy during peak hours. The WiFi connection was decent. Value: We found the on-site restaurant and the small selection of groceries at reception to be very convenient. A great bonus was the guest pass, which gave us good discounts on nearby excursions.

Camping is well mentained. Kitchen is quite equipped. I really appreciated the dryer room. The team running the camp is young and enthusiastic. I may not have liked the strictness in following the rules very much, but I understand that it is necessary for managing such a large camp.

I highly recommend booking one of the bungalows or other cabins here. We booked a bungalow with 3 adults and 3 kids and it was perfect. Outfitted kitchen (minus oven) and there are laundry facilities on-site. We could see and hear the waterfall from our unit, the restaurant on-site had some delicious offerings and to top it off it’s such an affordable place to stay in an excellent location - just a 10 minute walk into the center of town. Can’t be beat!
