Residenza Antica Canonica

We spent 3 nights here. The host was very kind and helpful, she welcomed us with a lovely attitude upon arrival and gave us several recommendations. The building is charming and has a great location. Parking is a challenge though. The apartment has a good heating system that on cold days quckly warmed up all the rooms. What bothered me most is the lack of cleanliness: the cups and plates in the cupboard were dirty (coffee spots in the cups, oil on the plates), the shower cabin was also not cleaned for a while. The kitchen is not very functional, no kitchen towels, missing utensils. One mini moka to make coffee, but its barely producing one espresso - not sufficient to make a breakfast batch for more people. The insulation is not the best, we could clearly hear the neighbours and next to the building there is a bar with lots of noisy people every night, good we had some earplugs at hand.

Beautiful ancient building updated for comfort without loss of charm. Fantastic staff very accommodating and super friendly. Will stay there again for sure.

An amazing hidden gem of a place. Used to be an old nunnery and now refurbished to an amazing apartahotel. Loads of character right in the centerof Citya di Castello. Nothing to fault ...truly amazing.
