Casa Grande da Capellanía

Right on the Camino path! We booked the beautiful large apartment with a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Spacious, with nice furnishings amidst a well-cared for, very old stone house. Service was professional.

Rustic structure recently renovated and well maintained, close to a busy road but convenient for those that are doing the Camino de Santiago. Spacious and clean rooms, same goes for the bathrooms. Alex, the guy at the reception, was wonderful and very kind with us, very helpful, he helped us with everything and satisfied our every request, also helping us with the language. Very well kept common areas and back garden, in the garden there is also a swimming pool, ideal for a moment of relax. Finally, a beautiful place to stay, where relaxation is guaranteed and we would definitely go back! I absolutely recommend it!

We stayed at the Casa Grande de Capella while walking the camino. The person who attended to us was very kind and helpful. The hotel is on a nice sized property with a swimming pool that was shielded from the road. The room was quite nice. The windows were double glazed and had shutters which helped mask the noise from the busy road next to the hotel. However the weather was quite hot and the room was stifling, especially with the windows and shutters closed. An air conditioner or, at the very least, a fan is required during hot weather. I would have rated this hotel a 5 had there been an air conditioner or fan and I hadn't needed to spend a sweaty and uncomfortable night.
