I absolutely loved this guesthouse. It’s family-run, and you can really feel the warmth and hospitality from the moment you arrive. The room was clean, had a private bathroom, and everything felt new and well kept. Dinner was traditional and hearty, with plenty of vegetarian options too. That night there was a football match (Albania was playing!) and when we asked if they could show it, the host said they weren’t airing it but was driving into town to watch and invited us to join. We went, and it was such a great experience, locals and tourists all cheering together. In the morning, they served a proper Balkan breakfast and even set out everything to make sandwiches for the hike. The lady who cooked (the host’s mother, I think) was the sweetest person ever. She secretly gave us some leftover cake and clementines to take on the trail. The family also arranged a cheap shuttle to the trailhead and even the driver (the dad) gave us tips for the hike. It honestly felt like staying at a relative’s house. The kind of place that makes you smile the whole way up the mountain.

A lovely, family-run guesthouse with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The owners are incredibly friendly and make sure you have everything you need. The dining and community room with its fireplace is the perfect place to socialize and the food is freshly prepared and delicious. Plus, there are a few friendly cats to cuddle with! You can really feel that they care about their guests and want everyone to feel at home.

Amazing night here! It was the perfect place to start the Theth trek. The location was fab. They sorted a minibus to the base of the hike and packed lunches and dinner the night before were provided. The guesthouse was surrounded by a stunning river and mountains. The owner was really hospitable and welcoming. I would have loved to stay here longer!
