Su Porteddu

Surprisingly good lattes here and reasonably priced. Perfect pick-me-up after a long hike to/from the beach! Note, there were lots of bees outside in the picnic table area! They were friendly but crawled all over any food.

When I came here the place was all for me as there was no one camping here. I rented a camping spot for 15 euros a night. After about 5 pm all the tourists left and the beach was completely left to me. It was a unique experience. A boat showed up on the shore and some people came for a dinner of the local dish (porcedu) which is a spit roasted pig. The owner asked if I'd like to join the feast for 35 euros. I did and it was the best porcedu I had in my whole stay in Sardenga. The place is quiet and has a peaceful vibe once the tourism leaves and the beach is stunning.

What a great restaurant/cafe. Stunning location, the place is decorated with natural wood. The food is great and cheap for the quality you get. Watch out for the donkeys in the car park:)
