Gasthaus Edelweiss

Would more recommend for a quick snack or drink, not a dinner. The staff did not seem well trained. Simple order like a tea with a rum and a coffee with one scoop of a vanilla ice-cream seemed like something totally overwhelming to serve.

Note: This review is for the restaurant only. We went to this restaurant during our visit to Vals. We were told the restaurant has really good Roshti so we got in and were seated on the table. The menu was in German and th owner/Server didn't know any English so we used Google Translate to tell what we wanted to order. The Roshti was really tasty and the cheese on it was out of the world. The Roshti was around 20 CHF and adding the charge for tap water and tax, we got a bill of about CHF 25. I would surely go back for Roshti next time I am in Vals. The restaurant is small and very cozy but its a great place to try out of you are in Vals.

Very kind people, could check in at 9am and got a room upgrade. Very much in the centre. Breakfast was not much but it was also off season with no one there.
