Albergue Municipal de Pereje

I just had the worst night on the camino. Waking up at 00:45 with bed bugs all over the place. A lot of big ones and many many small ones. I got fooled to stay at this place because I thought that the restaurant, which is very good rated (and has actually good food), had an albergue, but it is only the Municipal one in this little village. So don't be fooled in staying here!

DO NOT stay !!! Just skip this albergue. We had a horrible night because of BED BUGS. I killed three bugs and 6 of 12 pilgrims in the room were bitten by bed bugs. We had to get up 4 a.m. and packed all stuff and walked away. One young pilgrims found small bed bug in his socks. Facility is also the worst and out of date. Blankets are almost over 10 years and the nest of bed bugs.

Not bad, hot showers, laundry, big garden, but no wifi. Just be careful with the old cooking stove - you can get shocked - happened with us. They must change it before somebody get serously injured. No bund beds, which is great, but the fridge didnt work properly. Overall acceptable.
