Hotel Silberdistel

Nice and cosy room. For a family of 4, we got an apartment-like room with a kitchenette and a small dining area. The room was clean. Altgough we arrived long after the check in time, the key was left available to us in a safety box. The break fast was simple but good enough. The scenery around the hotel is forestry.

Very nice, quiet Gasthaus with a good breakfast. Hinterzarten is a charming small town up in the Schwarzwald. Coming from Freiburg, it's a simple 30 minute trip via train which is cheap, by car it's also only 30 minutes. The hotel staff was very friendly and you very much got a welcome feeling

The hotel was clean and the interior is something to see so much about the town and maps of walks ect. The room was fantastic very big with WiFi tea coffee and local bottled water the view was great looking over hinterzarten. The shower was top notch exactly what your looking for if you have spent a few days traveling the westweg. And the best thing was the staff the manager was a really great guy he really helped us out while we were there a massive thank you to you sir.
